The one shortcoming of monday.com is its customer service. As easy-to-use as the product is, if you do encounter any roadblocks, the customer service offerings within monday.com aren’t great. They’re essentially email only, which means you won’t get an immediate answer for any time-sensitive issues.

Where Smartsheet falters is in both its pricing and customer service. While its pricing isn’t absurd, it’s objectively more expensive than its contemporaries, and can’t back up that difference in price with significantly more features.

Sadly, Wrike falls short when it comes to customer service, as they only offer email services. This is fairly common for project management tools, but when paired with the higher-than-average price, it is slightly frustrating.

The main place ClickUp could focus on improving is its collaboration features, as well as its post-project features.

Resource Guru was formed in creative agencies, making it perfect for any company in the creative or marketing industries. But, the software is used by a whole range of companies, ranging from construction to IT.
Somewhere Resource Guru falls down against it’s competitors is it’s lack of customizatable features. They also don’t offer a free plan, but there is a free trial period.
6. Zoho: Best for affordability
CRM, HR services, project management — Zoho do it all, and they’re a market leader for a reason.
Zoho’s project management software is the most cost effective on our list. But it doesn’t cut corners and you’ll have everything you need to run great projects.
Platform features include time-tracking, resource management, as well as robust automation builders. Zoho also offers a strong free tier for smaller teams, or for new users to try out to get a feel for the software.
Zoho doesn’t score very highly on customer support as they can only be contacted via email. The UX also has a few kinks which make it slightly less user friendly than some of the other softwares on offer.
